A thank you from Mo':
Dear Friends and Family,
As I reflect on my journey so far, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support I’ve received from so many of you. This year marks an exciting turning point, and I wanted to share where I am, where I’m heading, and most importantly, to thank you for being part of my story.
I’ve made the decision to take a gap year after high school, allowing me to stay with School of Rock St. Matthews until I turn 19 next year. This place has been my home, my safe haven, and the foundation of my musical growth. Being part of their community—especially earning a spot on the Show Team—has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Right now, I’m fully immersed in auditioning for their All-Stars program. It’s intense, but every moment reminds me why I love what I do.
Beyond this, I’ve started learning the upright bass, and I plan to apply to Berklee School of Music in New York. My dream is to play in a Broadway Pit Orchestra someday. It’s been my goal as soon as I found out what was under that stage on my 16th birthday, spent in New York City. I hope to use my education and experiences to give back—to offer others what so many amazing humans have given me: healing, growth, and a sense of belonging through music.
Speaking of amazing humans, I need to thank some of the most important ones in my life.
To my mom: Thank you for standing by me, for your patience (yes, I know it’s saint-like at this point), and for loving me unconditionally. You’ve been my rock, my constant, and my biggest cheerleader, and I couldn’t have done any of this without you. You are an incredible teacher and a huge inspiration. You are the reason I am here today. I love you.
To Kimmy: you are my other mom. You saw something in me before I ever did, and you’ve been my guide and my inspiration ever since. Your love, wisdom, and belief in me changed my life, and I am endlessly grateful for you.
To my siblings: all five of you, plus the “adopted” extras you know who you are—you’re my foundation. And to "Liver" , my pal, my almost literal twin, my other half—you are everything to me. You’ve been my companion through it all, and I couldn’t imagine this life without you by my side.
To Sammie: My ride-or-die, my rock, my rooftop partner. Thank you for every late-night music session, every conversation that didn’t need words, and for being my anchor. And, of course, for the most memorable concert ever—Billie Eilish in 2024. You’ve made this journey brighter in every way.
And lastly, to those who doubted me, placed obstacles in my way, or underestimated me—you really don’t deserve a thank you but you gave me a reason to fight harder, grow stronger, and prove that I could. You didn’t stop me; you gave me motivation.
Music has been my greatest healer, my most constant companion, and the foundation of who I am. It’s brought me mentors, friends, and experiences I never dreamed possible. It has saved my life. My journey isn’t over yet, and I can’t wait to see where this path takes me next.
Thank you all for being part of my life, for cheering me on, and for believing in me. Your love and support mean more than I can ever put into words.
With all my love,
Mylo Naomi

Shoutouts from Friends and Family
Mylo…My Bug….My Velcro Child….The one who was sent in the spirit of redemption for the day she was born….
You will never understand the depth of pride I have for you. Your strength, your attunment to others, your compassion and empathy, and your authenticity all inspire me.
I have said since the day you were born, for being so small I look up to you so much. You are and always have been my hero.
Not in some crazy co-dependent way (because we’ve done the work to let that shit go!) but in a way of admiration.
I know you, my sweet child-baby-adult-human are going to do great things in this world. Cliche? Perhaps. But just know so many of us support and love you right where you are.
To read these beautiful words from folks who took a few seconds to love you - tells me you have all the support system you need to thrive.
The obstacles you have overcome have been no small ones. I have watched you walk through discovering your self identity and it has not been a painless journey for you. However, to watch you put those pieces into place and allow them to transpire into something greater than you has been the very inspiration so many of us watch with awe.
Your grace - your smile - your humanity. You, Mylo, have everything it takes to be. You are a natural leader and encourager. You empower everyone around you - even when you don’t realize it.
Your child-like wander, your determination to move through this life, and your unwillingness to let anything or anyone bend your morals and character will always serve you well.
I love you, kid.
And I’m so effing proud of you!
YOU MADE IT!
Mom.

Congrats, rockstar!
I will never forget your beaming, toothy grin and contagious laugh. A word of advice: most things are not worth over-thinking!
I love you! - Malachi
I would like to share the following, as these are words to live by from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
“What is success?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch Or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!”

Congratulations on your graduation Mylo Naomi!
I’m so incredibly proud of you and everything you’ve achieved. Watching you grow, not just as a musician but as a person, has been such a joy. From the moment you picked up your bass, I knew you were destined to create something special, and you’ve done just that—pouring your heart into every note and performance.
You’ve faced challenges with strength and grace, and I have no doubt that this is only the beginning of your incredible journey. The world is yours to explore, and I’ll always be here, cheering you on, every step of the way.

Aunt Julie and Co.
Niece,
From the first time I held you, I knew you would be something special—not only to your family but to this world. I wish I could rewind the clock so we could spend many missed years together, learning about one another, and I could watch you grow up. Sadly, I am neither as talented as you nor a magician, so moving forward, know that I am here for you. Always. No matter where either of us are or the time of day...
I. GOT. YOU.
I'm beyond proud of you and completely blown away by your many talents. Though you're a brilliant young adult, I can't wait to get together so I can start showing you how to be really cool, like your uncle.
Keep the feet moving forward, and don't stop for anyone until your dreams come true!
Congratulations!!
Uncle
For Mylo,
Congratulations on attaining just one of life’s many milestones! This watershed moment reminds me of a favorite quote by Louis Pasteur: “When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments; tenderness for what he is, and respect for what he may become.” Wishing you continued inspiration, tenderness from the world, and sending you mad respect for getting after it!
~Kelly
The first time we met I knew you were special. You had the sweetest smile, the biggest laugh, and a spirit bigger than the whole outside.
Today as you go from one phase in life to another I hope you always remember that you are so special, so unique, so talented, and so loved.
I cannot wait to see where you go from here!
Love, Aunt Kristen
I can’t wait to see the things you accomplish in this life. I also know you will hit it big one day and I will be able to say, “I am related to her!” I love you! Come see me so you can play the bass and I can sing like we talked about. Congratulations on your graduation!
The best is yet to come!
Aunt Vicki
